This is going back!! Amazon shows the side of the watch with the crown but not the side with **INVICTA engraved in big letters**. Ugly.



Foolishly I bought this watch after reading the measurements and that it is a bigger watch but it's HUGE. I think I have an average size wrist and this thing looks ridiculous on it. I wanted to see how it compared to my other watches and I drew out the dimensions on paper and it didn't look nearly as big as it is. I think the size of it makes it look like cheap toy and that's just my opinion but be warned it's probably BIGGER than you think if you aren't familiar with the brand.

I'm big,and I'm left-handed,and this watch is perfect for me.It fairly yells "I am a man!" Before I bought this watch,I was a bit hesitant because of the leather band.Every other watch I have owned has had bands that were too short and too stiff,as well as being difficult to release the pins (to me,the bands are installed backwards).On this watch,Invicta seemed to realise that big men would be wearing it and up-sized the band accordingly.They made the band of top quality materials with a nicely polished embossed buckle and strap keeper.Very attractive!Now,the next item was just great.The strap pins are furnished with little levers that allow you to remove them without the use of any tools,just a finger-tip.Well,I thought it was pretty neat.The watch itself is quality,beautifully finished and attractive - manly,if you will.If I wouldn't look funny wearing two,I would!

This watch is as advertised! It is a BIG watch, it is a HEAVY watch. If you have a smaller wrist, it will take it all up and may look a little odd by dwarfing your hand. The quality and feel are very impressive and I like the heft of this watch...one reason I bought it! The band is a little stiff and I seem to like it in the second to last band hole and I have about an 8 in wrist, so, any bigger wrist you may run out of adjustment holes. Again, I can't say enough about the quality and feel of this solid watch...I'm very impressed...especially coupled with the price! Shipping was extremely fast with Amazon and this was my very first purchase with Invicta and Amazon and am glad to say pleased with both. I am woman...solid and tall. I have always preferred men's watches because of their sheer size. As for watches, I have only one motto: The bigger, the better. I was not disappointed when I received this one. It's pretty huge and bold. I have received quite a few compliments for it...I was so smitten by it that I ordered the red one. I can only mention two caveats: the band is really stiff and the turning screw sometimes digs at my writ. Overall,I would totally recommend it.

Anyone that is into large watches will not be dissapointed by this monster. I own an Invicta Russian Diver which is also 52mm, but this watch is badder and meaner. The photo doesn't do it justice. In the photo the case looks like flat grey paint, but in person it is polished gunmetal grey with a nice satin sheen. It's one of the thickest watches made at 15mm in depth, and sits tall on the wrist. The braclet is a real beauty with black solid hard rubber links and gunmetal inserts held together with screwed in pins. High quality. It also has a couple of half links to tweek the sizing to a perfect fit. I have a small 7 1/4 inch wrist, and this watch fits with no problem. People with a smaller wrist than mine may find the case too big lug to lug. For larger wrists, this band would probably fit Golliath out of the box. You'll have all the links needed to work with. The face is large with luminous everything, including all hands, numbers and hour markers. Very,very easy to read including the triple date window. The chronograph works fine, and the watch is keeping good time. I got this watch during another one of Amazon's super deals with an unbeatable price. It's no wonder that as of this writing the watch is sold out!

This Ibiza is all of the 52mm and then some, meaning that it has tremendous presence on your wrist and will draw attention from others. What can I say? This watch is a beast. It looks like it will jump of you wrist and kick some ***. I love it. It is big and heavy. People notice this watch. I picked up this watch a couple of weeks agao when it was $89.00...the black on black- 4902 is now $278.00- so this was a steel. I second all the other 5 star reviews and cannot say much more.



As for adjusting the band I had to called Invicta to be sure the band had real screws not pins. Once I knew that I tried jewelers screw drivers, but it was a no go. The screws were too tight and I could not apply enough torque ... the band just slipped away. The solution was larger screw drivers but small tips. I just happen to have such tools and then it was easy, Hold one steady and lefty Lucy the other. I had to take out two links on one side and one on the other. Turned out great. Yes! I would buy it again ... now all Amazon needs to do is put an other model "on steel" at this point a "sale" won't do.... they spoiled me with the great price.

I have been collecting watches for almost a year now and have been drooling over the Venom since I began. I bought this one and apon receiving it and wearing it for a day ordered the silver verson as well. The price is outstanding here on amazon and invicta is a great watch company. The black watch with the blue face is an awesome combination.



Be warned this is a huge watch and not for the faint of heart. I have an 8-1/2" wrist and it fits well. I don't know if the rubber strap will be comfortable on a larger wrist or not. I ordered the black Venom ss bracelet from Invicta for $112.00 including shipping. So for $496.00 I have the venom with the rubber and ss bracelets. The bracelet will be more comfortable and suite the bigger wrists.



So if you are looking for a big, beefy, monter of a watch this is it. Buy it and you'll see.

Love the look and feel of this Chronograph. It truly is much better looking in person, and I went out and bought the black faced one as well. The Sapphire glass is extremely scratch resistant and so far after 2 years of wearing it as my everyday business watch, no scratches on the face. Truly awesome given the abuse i make my watches go through. Very happy with this purchase, and has made me seek out other Invicta branded watches/chronographs as well. I own the Swiss-quartz version of this watch (which is brilliant) and I was expecting the lower Japanese movement to be similar in build quality and construction. Unfortunately it is not. I purchased this as a gift for a family member figuring that it would be identical to the version that I have aside from the movement.



The Metal on the watch just isn't constructed with the same material as it is on the higher end Swiss models that Invicta makes. The crown and chronograph buttons feel as if they can be easily stripped when screwing them down. The biggest complaint I have with the watch is the fact that the watch doesn't appear to have a "lap timer" function. I'm going to call Invicta to see if this is a faulty functionality or if that's just how the watch operates.



For those who don't know:

A "lap timer" function allows you to pause the stop watch on a chronograph while it still keeps time. This is so you could record a "lap time" and resume the timer and it will jump to the correct position that it would have been at had you not paused the timer. This is normally done by starting the timer with the top button and pressing the bottom button. You would then resume by depressing the bottom button again. This watch just resets anytime you press the second button.



On the good side. It is a fairly well constructed watch. The casing feels heavy, but not cumbersome. It looks like a $400 watch, but cost less than $100 bucks. If you're a watch enthusiast or if you've owned anything better than a Seiko chronograph then go for the Swiss model. This applies to ALL Invicta watches.

This is a beautiful watch. I was going to purchase the automatic version, but couldn't pass up the price. Overall quality is very nice, and it has that "solid" feel of a fine watch. I had looked at a Rolex weeks before buying the Invicta, and I have to say, the resemblance is amazing. The value is really hard to beat. The only glitch has been the loss of a few minutes occasionally- which required me to reset. After doing some reading on Invicta quartz watches, I discovered that very often the batteries are not fully set in thier mounts- thus causing erratic performance. This has not occurred lately, but I plan on having the battery checked/replaced soon. I will very likely purchase another Invicta- probably an automatic. Amazon continues to provide excellent service.

I ordered 2 of these watches. One for myself and another for my brother in-law. Both arrived on-schedule and in perfect condition. I already own another Invicta watch and have been looking at this one for quite some time. My anticipation was well rewarded. This is a very heavy and substantial watch. Pictures really do not do it justice. It is absolutely gorgeous and timeless in design. As usual, it is packaged in a yellow Invicta flip-top box with leather upholstery and the watch itself is neatly covered in plastic shrink-wrap as to insure it's scratch free delivery.



A few unknowing buyers are unaware of the screw down crown. The crown must be unscrewed before the time and date can be set. Not knowing this will result in frustration and possible damage. The design itself cannot be flawed, as it insures a water tight seal and I do appreciate it. I like a watch that will go wherever I go, and this watch is surely up to the task. Many will scoff at the cyclops magnifier over the date, saying that its not like the Rolex. Guess what, it's not a Rolex. It's just fine. If you hold the watch at an angle you will realize that the date is very tiny and without the magnifier it would be very hard indeed to read the date.



If you like what you see here on the site, you will not be dissapointed with the product in your hands. An excellent timepiece at the right price with the right looks and the feel to match.

Only problem i have with is pull crown its bigger then watch in width and sharp i guss it gets better with wear but when you wear the watch it hurts it scraps skin on wrist other then that its great watch its waterproof and price is realy great right now i paid 46 dollar for this watch from amazon and i think its best price i have ever paid invicta watch and i have three i love invicta watches they are well made and great quality watch for price hands down

The product description says the watch is water resistant up to 200 meters (600 feet). However, I use this watch for around 1 and half month and water has gone into the watch already. I didn't wear the watch to swim or take shower. I just use it normally and sometimes I wear it when I wash hands. How dare they say the watch is water resistant?

Overall an excellent product. The only issue is the date and time settings. The instructions created confusion by indicating to set the date you need to pull out the crown to the first position and the clock will stop. I tried pulling out the crown and it would not budge. After some choice words to the watch - I tried to unscrew the crown and it popped out. Tried to find a crown position where the clock stops. Only stops at the second position to set the time. After more choice words directed to the watch - pushed the crown in to the 1st position and turned the crown counter clock wise and the date changes. This process took about 15 - 25 frustrating minutes. I found out about the unscrewing of the crown buried in the section that covers all Invicta products. Bottom line - if the instructions were more specific and correct - the process would have taken 2 minutes and I bet this watch's rating would jump a full star. Hopefully this info eases other purchasers pain in the future.

I've been an Amazon costumer for many years and this is the FIRST time I had to do a return on a product. In less than 2 weeks I've had to return the same product twice. The first time I got the watch, I noticed that every 2 days the time was off by 5-8 minutes. So I returned it. I ordered a new one because I really loved the watch and the looks. The second watch came a week later and this one didn't even move. I tapped the watch and finally got running.After an hour it stopped again. Maybe is the battery, I don't know, but why would you worry about a battery in a new watch priced over $300?



Now I'm $140 down waiting for a refund. Do NOT recommend to anyone.



I think that I will go for a MUCH LESS expensive watch that can give me the same look. Last time I checked a watch is supposed to give the time not headaches RIGHT?

This is a beautiful watch. It's very comfortable as well, even though it's a little bigger than what I was used to. I've been wearing it 24/7 for about a month now, and it's taking a beating due to the work that I do in December. It doesn't have a scratch or blemish on it. Love, love, love the sapphire crystal! The only minor drawbacks are that I have a hard time seeing the hands on the three gold faces... but my eyes aren't the greatest either. And, I usually know what day it is. I'm glad I made this purchase. It really is a nice watch.

Loved it out of the box - but now about 3 months later a lot of the gold on the band has rubbed off of MANY of the links. Very disappointing - so much for the two-tone! And of course the warranty will not cover the band.

I have only had my Invicta watch for a couple of weeks. So far I like it very much. This watch is seems well made and very good looking for daily wear. One thing to know is that the third "big" hand on the watch is not a sweep second hand. It is part of the stop stop watch feature. Therefore, it does not go around the watch dial constantly. If you try to make it go around all the time, it will wear down the battery. The second hand is one of the small chronograph dials. It goes continuously.
