I bought this watch from Amazon not long ago for $79.99. I thought to myself at the time that the price was not only a bargain, but probably represented at or below rock-bottom wholesale. I was shocked by the size--at first. I've totally gotten used to it. And I have a narrow wrist. The watch looks, feels, and works great. It generates constant comments, always about its size; but this is a handsome, aesthetically pleasing, well-designed watch and that is of foremost importance to me. I always own about six or eight watches. I really think they are the only statement a man can make via jewelery. Now, some of the Nautica chronographs, for example, are very handsome and nicely priced. But I suddenly think that type of watch is obsolete. Women are wearing watches as big as most men's watches. There is something going on here that this watch really opened my eyes to. My next watch will almost certainly be an Invicta--probably from the Russian Diver collection, as big or bigger and with a colored face...

I love the way it looks, the only drawback is the crown digs in when bending your hand back because of its size. Invicta has good watches and cheap watches. This is one of the cheap ones. I liked the look and feel of this product. But as I was adjusting the Chrono hands, the hand in the top sub dial popped right off. Cheap movement and quality is not up to par. Sent it back and will NOT buy another Invicta that is not Swiss Made again...



I know of at least 12 other people that have had the exact same problem.



I gave it 3 stars because of the look and feel of this watch. It had nothing to do about the movement which sucks.

I own several Invicta watches so nothing new to say about the overall quality of the purchase. You won't go wrong with a mid to high end Invicta watch!! I do have one complaint about the watch design. The links of the watch are huge and with the clasp design it is impossible to get a 100% correct fit without just getting lucky. Most watches have a half link or some way to ajust the clasp...without either of these it is impossible and since it is a very big and heavy watch this can cause a problem. Otherwise a fun weekend watch!

Got a super deal on mine. The genuine calf leather band is pretty thick and more a little difficult than a band of standard thickness to buckle. It is heavy, but not annoyingly so. The crown cap is excessive. It rubs your wrist if you bend your hand back. The whole watch pretty big. You get used to it after a day. Keeps accurate time. Had it for a few months and still not one minute off. Just got the 6606 model (stainless case, black dial) for my cousin. This line is apparently modeled after the super cool Classico line of U-Boat watches. The real one has the crown on the left. You can also get the U-Boat in a more interesting color scheme: black dial on black case. But that watch is 30-60 times more expensive. All in all, this is a very good (not great) watch for a guy with a large frame (7.5" wrist). And yes, you get noticed.

I've only had this watch a day, so I can't comment on its longevity (i.e. crystal susceptibility to scratches, etc.), but I love it. It is really a handsome watch with a good weight. I got a great deal here on Amazon which introduced me to the brand.



A couple comments: The face is a dark blue with an engraved grid pattern. It also has a REALLY nice feature that when you pull the crown out one stop, the watch keeps going. This lets you advance the date during 30-day months without messing up the time. This is one of my pet peeves since I can't stand to have the date wrong yet I don't want to have to set the time every two months (on average).



The watch band is also very thick which makes it a little stiff, but it comes pre-curved. It is finished in a weird plastic way that sort of makes it look not like leather. The strap is also difficult to stick under the loop.



Functionally, the luminescent hands don't do much. Also, the crown O-ring does not feel like it is really sealing, but I don't plan on getting water on it anyway due to the band. Pulling the crown out is a little difficult since it is very small in order to fit under the cap which is held by the buckle/loop over the chronograph start button. Turning the crown to set the date/time also is not very smooth, like possibly something is bent, so I hope this does not cause any future issues.



The warranty is 1 year, but only if purchased from an authorized dealer. To obtain any service, you have to ship it plus a $28 handling fee. There is an optional extended warranty that covers an additional 4 years for $55, I believe.



In sum, I love the look and feel of this watch. The way that the date sets means I will like this watch a lot more since I can easily advance the date. Hopefully, it will prove durable.

This is my fourth Corduba....(I gave my first one to my little brother), so now I am down one and looking to up my collection....with another Corduba or two, and a Russian Driver or three. If you haven't gotten it yet please develop it soon, and keep it...the "Invicta Fever"!! Because, once you buy one you will not be able to pass on such great prices, class, style, and selection.

I've worn this watch for the last couple of weeks, and this is a nice addition to my collection. Very comfortable, and fits a little differently from my other Cordubas. Fits a little better under long sleeve dress shirts than some other more massive Invictas, but still maintains a presence on the wrist. Good looking watch.

Invicta's 3972 Square Corduba is my second Corduba watch and first in this series square style. This is a big and unique watch that has a prominent round satin finish gold plated raised bezel whose top edge is 3-millimeters wide. This bezel is raised 3-millimeters above the square plate it's affixed to and is flush with all four sides of the square casing. The satin finish gold plate is secured by four polished gold hex head screws strategically placed in the four corners of the watch's square case. The satin black case contrasts with its polished black chronograph pushers and crown. Using this platform Invicta showcases their exquisitely colored ivory dial with its glossy black enamel hour markers and luminous minute and hour hands. This is a boldly different, stylish and sharp looking watch!



There are three complications on this watches' ivory dial. A three-day date window is at three o'clock, a sixty second sub-dial at six o'clock and an elapsed sixty-minute chronograph sub-dial at twelve o'clock. All of these complications are subtlety outlined with silver. This watch is listed as paired with a cloth strap. However, my watch arrived with a 4-millimeter thick black calf skin leather strap and buckle with ivory stitching. This strap amply supports the watch but required breaking in a few days to fit comfortably. This is a lot of watch for the $133.00 price I paid on Amazon two weeks ago. Now it is a steal as I write this review at the current Amazon "Friday Sale" price of $113.05. If you are sitting on the fence considering this watch, I say grab it before the price rises.

My goodness! These things are huge... and they weigh a ton. at 5'8" and 260, I qualify as "fat". Even with a body of my size, these watches are gigantic. I ordered a total of five of these in different colors (and will keep them for their novelty). But you need to be 6'5"-plus and 300# if you want this watch to look proportionate. The band is also gigantic and made of thick heavy-duty leather.



Seems to be good quality. Heavy, heavy, heavy construction.



The instructions for setting the watch, the three different knobs and the multi-position stem, are confusing. The big thing is to make sure all dials, except the hour and minute hands, are set to "O" before you push in the stem and start the watch.

This is my second Invicta watch and I must say that this watch is huge and stands out. It's very easy to adjust the band and using a eye glass kit flat head screw driver, and to adjust the time, un-screw the crown protecter and pull the crown out it may be a little stiff at first but that's ok just make sure you have strong fingers. Also this watch came with a 5 year warranty from Invicta but you must register your watch on-line within the time frame of purchase, last this watch was almost $100.00 cheaper than other on-line webs sites. This watch is really HUGE & it suited to men with large wrist.

Very stylish & well build, keeps good time & for the price, its good value for money.

I also bought the yellow one but unfortunately the rubber linkage pins were very difficult to remove.

The bezel knob to adjust the time is very tight & need to use a plier to extract it out, as the knob is too small.

I didn't realize how big it was until I got it, but I got nothing but good comments on it. This is a great looking watch and I'm happy with how it looks and functions. However, about the third time I wore it two little screws fell out. Now the little levers that swing the stem cover out of the way are just kind of hanging there. I would have given it five stars if it wouldn't have started to fall to pieces so quickly.

Amazon did a great job in delivery and return. yes return. within a week the hands began to fall off of the watch. this was a bit surprising but Amazon handled it quickly and professionally.



i will try invicta again as i hope it was a fluke. i will of course use Amazon to handle the purchase.

Anyone that is into large watches will not be dissapointed by this monster. I own an Invicta Russian Diver which is also 52mm, but this watch is badder and meaner. The photo doesn't do it justice. In the photo the case looks like flat grey paint, but in person it is polished gunmetal grey with a nice satin sheen. It's one of the thickest watches made at 15mm in depth, and sits tall on the wrist. The braclet is a real beauty with black solid hard rubber links and gunmetal inserts held together with screwed in pins. High quality. It also has a couple of half links to tweek the sizing to a perfect fit. I have a small 7 1/4 inch wrist, and this watch fits with no problem. People with a smaller wrist than mine may find the case too big lug to lug. For larger wrists, this band would probably fit Golliath out of the box. You'll have all the links needed to work with. The face is large with luminous everything, including all hands, numbers and hour markers. Very,very easy to read including the triple date window. The chronograph works fine, and the watch is keeping good time. I got this watch during another one of Amazon's super deals with an unbeatable price. It's no wonder that as of this writing the watch is sold out!

The Invicta Corduba line is not for the timid, or someone with a wrist size less than 7". This Ibiza is all of the 52mm and then some, meaning that it has tremendous presence on your wrist and will draw attention from others. The black and gunmetal colors give it a unified and purposeful look. The bracelet is handsome and comfortable to wear as the use of synthetic in the links cuts the weight. Buying from Amazon was both fast and economical. The upgrade to 5year platinum warranty was done painlessly on the Invicta website during registration. Great product, great service, good price, donot hesitate to buy.

What can I say? This watch is a beast. It looks like it will jump of you wrist and kick some ***. I love it. It is big and heavy. People notice this watch. If you are timid or shy, this watch is not for you. If you have a small wrist, this watch probably isn't for you. Awesome watch, good lume, giant yet stealth looking. Really cool color combo. I was debating between the black/black and the gunmetal/black. I am very glad I picked up the gunmetal/black. Good stuff man, good stuff. Gotta love Invicta.

I picked up this watch a couple of weeks agao when it was $89.00...the black on black- 4902 is now $278.00- so this was a steel. I second all the other 5 star reviews and cannot say much more.



As for adjusting the band I had to called Invicta to be sure the band had real screws not pins. Once I knew that I tried jewelers screw drivers, but it was a no go. The screws were too tight and I could not apply enough torque ... the band just slipped away. The solution was larger screw drivers but small tips. I just happen to have such tools and then it was easy, Hold one steady and lefty Lucy the other. I had to take out two links on one side and one on the other. Turned out great. Yes! I would buy it again ... now all Amazon needs to do is put an other model "on steel" at this point a "sale" won't do.... they spoiled me with the great price.

I saw this watch on HSN and it looked really good. The price on Amazon is amazing for this kind of quality too!



The watch is large, heavy and really quite well made and attractive for its price range. I have a Zurich watch which is large, or so I thought, and it cost me $550 and doesn't look as nice as these. The workmanship on the Zurich is better, but the Invicta is no slouch and looks and feels as good...



At 6'2 and 280lbs, the watch fits me very well. It is large, so you really need to like a large watch before ordering this one. I purchased two: this one and the one with the black dial. Both look great in person.



The strap is remarkably comofortable, feels good to the touch and is solid.



This would make a great Christmas gift for any guy who loves watches (like me!) :)

I love large watches, as I am a big U-Boat fan. When I saw this Invicta Men's Corduba Collection Oversized Chronograph Watch (3449) I knew I had to place an order.



The watch is everything I had hoped for and when I went to place the order I was delighted to find that it was listed for even less than I had anticipated. The watch came in just a few days and I really like it. It is very comfortable to wear and it keeps very good time. I did have to zero the second hand, but that was easily done. I was awed when I first opened the box: huge is an understatement; like another reviewer said: it looks more like a 'wristclock' than a wristwatch. Nevertheless, I'm keeping it since I find the design too cool, even cooler than what the picture shows. Only problem is that I can't wear this with long sleeves shirts, since the watch makes it very hard to close the wrist sleeve.
