Invicta always does a great job. Beautiful watch, good construction. The band is a little underweight so the watch doesn't feel balanced but you get used to it. I will probably put it on a brown leather band anyway. A very nice watch for the $60 I paid. From a looks perspective, you won't find a better watch for less than a grand. This thing looks way more expensive than it is. Plus the brand name means Invincible, so you have that story to tell... the only thing I wish is that I would have preferred this to be an automatic watch... but it would have been much more expensive.

My review for this will be short. It is a really good high quality watch. I am pleased with the features, packaging and looks. I was especially pleased about the fantastic price that Amazon offered it for. In fact I was too pleased about the price and the star rating given by customers so that I did not look at the reviews here or elsewhere in depth. As a result I bought an excellent watch at an excellent price which is too big for my small wrist (some people seem to like that look, but not me). So sadly I have to give it away and get another watch.



For Amazon and other sellers please consider methods of pointing out the weight and size of the watches being sold, not just using written measurements but also some pictures against a ruler or some standard sized object eg a ping pong ball etc. Watches like this that are really big would do even better to be flagged as such.

This watch is made by Invicta and is well made. However, with the partnership of Invicta and Seiko- - developing unique movements, and Seiko simply becoming a major supplier now to Invicta rather than the usual Swiss heavy hitters who are just drying up on having enough movements available to meet world demand, guess what....this is an exact carbon cut out of the Citizen Nighthawk (made by the Seiko Corporation). Find a picture on Amazon, compare and exhale [Ok, I'll post one up for you]. The difference is this model is quartz, not eco drive. But, for about $300.00 less, TOUCHDOWN! It looks good, fits well and the gold plating is up to Invicta standards. The movement has a dual hand 24 hour time keeping function that is really cool and unique. This is far from the most expensive watch I own, but I enjoy it as much as any other in my collection, some costing hundreds more. It does have the flame fusion crystal, which is relatively new for Invicta, so it is not from the oldies vault. The outer dial rotates with the left crown, which is for calculating fuel needs for REAL pilots, but even if you're grounded like me, it looks awesome. I've worn it to work with a suit, despite it's function and sporty look, and it came off great with the rich blue and Swiss gold of Invicta's layering process. Can't miss here. Any would-be aviation fanatics, watch geeks, geeks in general, or watch collectors, will be happy with this watch for a lower end, easy wear piece. Wear it in good value and good fun...This one is to wear and ENJOY!

Maybe I got a lemon or maybe I got a return.. but the time and date on this watch could not be set. When trying to set the date it would move the hour hand forward by about an hour while the second hand didn't move. So that created a little problem.. now when the minute hand was placed at the 6(30 minutes) the hour hand would be at a new hour instead of being in the middle of two hours. Once I thought I had the time set, I noticed all that adjusting of the date caused the 24-hour portion to be off by an hour or two. I returned the product rather than send it out for repairs before ever putting it on my wrist.. I hope the next one coming doesn't have the same problems.



Other than that issue the watch was beautiful and large, I just really hope the new one can accurately be set.

Okay. I'm 54. I don't see up close as well as I used to and I hate to whip out a pair of reading glasses just to see what time it is. This watch is set up for left handed people. When worn on the right wrist the winding/setting controls are opposite my wrist which is much more comfortable. The face is big and masculine. Easy to see even in dark areas. It has been reliable.



I alternate this watch with an Invicta diver's watch and like them both. I would buy it again.

The overall look of the watch is great, although I'm not sure who actually designed it because it looks like the Citizen Nighthawk. The problem is the bracelet. At a suggested retail of $395 I expected solid links. They are actually hollow links. Very light weight with some sharp edges especially at the folding clasp. The case is a little light too. I'll keep it because of the overall look and the price...$56.99...and probably swap out the cheap bracelet for rubber or leather. It's an OK watch. Definitely a low-end Invicta.

I've read the other reviews about this watch. Naturally, it's not an Omega or a Citizen. However, for those who don't have $1,000 to blow on a watch, buy this one. It's a great size and it's very sporty. Did I mention that it's reasonably priced?



There are a bunch of pompous watch collectors out there who believe that an expensive watch is the best watch. I say, "If a watch looks good on you and it's durable, than it's a good watch." Don't get me wrong, I'm not downing anyone who can afford an expensive watch--If I could, I would. However, for those who cannot, get down how you live.



This is a great watch. I suggest you get this one and the gold one with the blue dial.

The Nighthawk is a really excellent timepiece - and is solar powered, never needs a battery. I hope Invicta licensed it, and didn't just steal the design, but in any case, the bottom line is that this Invicta is a basic Taiwanese made, Japanese quartz movement watch. Is it worth $69 as a designer copy? Probably. Obviously the MSRP is ridiculously inflated and they must do this just for marketing purposes: so that all their products are offered at steep discounts, as there is no way this watch is worth anything near $395.



Disclaimer that I don't own this Invicta, so I can't review its materials quality, others have already commented on that too, but my experience is that under $100, just about all quartz watches are going to be pretty much the same: Made in Asia, Japanese movement, stainless bracelet. Standard stuff. One is much the same as any other. You pay for the brand and/or design.



However, at this price point, one cannot demand a lot, whether its quality, style, or reliability. So for $69, it *is* a helluva nice design, copied from a really beautiful and stylish Citizen. Comparing to other low end designer brands like Fossil and Swatch and similar competitors, it seems to be a fairly compelling entry. Whether you're a chronophile with a wide spectrum of tastes, or just shopping for an inexpensive timepiece, this could be a nice addition to your wrist.

Listen i have the all black version of this watch. Its cool looking, slightly heavy, but i like it. I don't work for any watch companies or anything like that. just a regular guy who thought this watch was cool. the markings for the slide rule may be of slightly but not noticeable unless you are actually trying to use it. its been two weeks and the novelty has not worn off yet. but its not a very expensive watch so hey... i'm sure if you buy it you'll be satified....

The strap is very light and flimsy, the mechanism feels "loose" when you adjust it and the whole thing just feels cheap - which IMHO it isn't. As a owner of 7 Invicta's this one was clearly the corner cutter. I bought it because it does look cool, it has a different face and a Flame Fusion Crystal. The bracelet however will definately not last. It looks solid but consists of no solid pieces.The steel links are folded over to the inside edges.



The first time I ordered this item I received it with the face of the watch not centered in its casing, it was immediately returned. The second order also had a problem, the fold over clasp was on backwards. Although not enough to return it (it's a $10.00 fix at most)it did make me think of my other Invicta's. Every one has needed repair, from band reassembly to a cracked jewel on my 25 jewel Swiss automatic.



If you buy this watch understand that you will get what you pay for. I really like Invicta's SUB AQUA NOMA watches, but looking back at the brand I'd rather spend my $1,500.00+ and get another OMEGA.

I loved the look of the watch when it arrived and I opened the box. But my excitement turned to anguish when I realized the battery didn't work?!?!? No exchange, "Refund Only" policy hurts. If I want to buy a replacement it will cost me $58 MORE than my original purchase. That is JUST WRONG!!!

Considering the dearth of left-handed watches, this elegant watch meets the requirement that the controls are on the correct side for wearing on the right wrist. As described, this is a large watch both in diameter and thickness but the weight is comparable to most good watches.



I did a lot of searching for left-handed watches and there are precious few. I found a number of watches are advertised as left-handed but don't meet the main requirement. If you want a true lefty watch, this is a great choice at a great price. The MSRP tag attached to the watch is really $525 and the Amazon price is always way under half that - I happened on a great promotion last December that included free overnight shipping and an extended warranty deal.



There are not many features but I consider this a "dress" watch and I own several Casio watches that have lots of functions like stopwatches and alarms. Between the stunning black and gold color scheme and the size of the case, this watch is an attention grabber. Amazingly, I often have to point out the "left-handedness" to admirers who seem surprised that we southpaws have been reaching around watch cases for years. This is truly a great, lefty watch.

Although I'm not a left hand man when I saw this watch and I saw all the details in the page I decided to buy it and I don't regret about the decision, it's an amazing watch and for its size it's almost impossible the people don't notice it.

I put it just 4 starts because I'd prefer it for right-handed but it's an small detail. The watch rewards that little issue. And another excellent point about this watch is the price.

I am a wathc lower. I haven't noticed Invicta before. I saw in internet and specially this left handy got me excited. I order from Amozon, simply it was the cheapest one at that time on Amazon and I think still is. With free shipping option I had it in seven days. The watch come in beatiful yellow box.

As for my perconel experience if you want to buy a watch which can go with suit and casual this watch will be perfect choice.

The watch is big and shiny, appears thicker than it really is which I like.

If you want to be noticed with your watch this is very good option.

The price was good.

Okay, I have owned some "trendy" watches before, but NOTHING has come close to the amount of compliments I have received wearing this Bad Boy! The face is HUGE! I did replace the band with a nicer one (the standard it comes with is a little cheap). Still, even with another band purchase it gives off the appearance of a $1500+ watch!

This was the first Invicta watch I ever purchased so I wasn't sure of what to expect. I was surprised by the nice yellow storage box it comes in...first rate. The watch itself comes covered by those thin plastic films protecting scratchable surfaces, I was glad of that. The accuracy is very, very excellent. Syncing all my watches to an atomic clock, this watch's sync has remained for a few days now...losing only a second! Thick and heavy watch. Very nice band. This piece generates conversations. I'm proud of it. The large numbers glow nicely upon a lighting charge. Chronograph works fine. The pushers feel high quality; the crown feels very precision: it's very large, free spins with some resistance pushed all the way in; pulled out it clicks very nicely with no wiggle play. Seeing the the hands turned with precision on that huge dial is rewarding.

Very big watch, which has a niche role for me for very casual occasions. I like it, but some of my friends have chided me for wearing a "clock on my wrist." The "lefty" design really does make the watch feel more comfortable on the right wrist. I am NOT left handed, so I tried to wear it on my left wrist, but the crown irritated my arm. Wearing a watch on the opposite wrist is kind of weird. It is a "fun" watch, not a "daily driver" for me.

I obtained this chronograph, brand new, off eBay for about $85 total. Quite a steal when compared to the $465 MSRP! It is the largest watch I own. The width of the case (including crown) is 52mm! The case is 11mm thick. The white dial is very clean, crisp, and detailed. The second hand is stepping, not sweeping like I've seen described on some websites. I swapped out the brown leather band for a black leather band w/ red stitching and deployment clasp. The red stitching matches the red markers and hands rather nicely. The stock brown leather band is quite hefty and supple. The generous proportions of the watch plus the inverted crown and chronograph push-buttons ("lefty") certainly make this timepiece an item of conversation. The luminous markers and hands are crisp but are of average brightness with other watches. I definetly recommend this watch.
