Good for a "banger" watch. I bought this watch in 2007 and it died about two and a half years later. I thought the watch only needed a new battery, but discovered that the battery was okay. The second hand somehow got stuck. A couple of attempts to repair it failed, and for the cheap price, it wasn't worth further effort. You get what you pay for. The watch was good looking and kept time okay, but it's not really a Swiss watch and it's not really a high end watch, although it looks like that to people who don't know watches. I've owned cheap watches that lasted many years. Should a $60 watch last more than a few years? You decide.

I had originally requested the silver faced model of this watch (which got lost on transit 1st time around) but they were sold out so I opted for the blue version. Having done the research prior for the silver model, I didn't think that there would be concern as for the authenticity of the color (was I wrong) After ordering, I read the reviews for this and was I surprised to hear about the purple color and that the picture was misleading. Well, it is purple and I only found one light source in a store that made it look blue. I don't mind the purple, it's different for me but I think I'll adjust. Now, for the mechanics: The watch itself seems solid, it was really easy to set the time, date, etc and as of 72 hrs of ownership, no time has been lost ( I noticed there were issues with other customers). The size is perfect for my wrist, I did have 4 links removed to fit it, but the band was rather long to begin with. The dials are small but I can see them just fine, so for me, it works. For the price I can't complain and I hope it lasts for a decent amount of time. I would of given it 5 stars but that color thing got me and no matter how much research you do, you can always do more...

One thing i want to get out there. i am no watch expert, but i really like this watch. For me, it can be worn as both as a dress watch or for everyday business. It's bold but not flashy, as in, not like those gold ones that blind people's eyes from 50 ft away. It is subtle for most until they get a good look at it. Some of my friends have commented on how great looking my watch is. The navy blue color is very attractive.
Now some points
Some people have complained about the watch face size. In all honesty I think its fine, as in the description its about 38 mm in diameter, but at least for me since I would consider my self athletic and built, it fits my wrist just fine.
Another thing is the thickness of the watch. I'm not gonna lie, it is slightly thicker than what i wouldve imagined, but ITS A METAL WATCH. I want it to have a weighty feel so im not bothered by it at all.
Also, people, water RESISTANCE does not mean water PROOF. so if you go in the water for an extended period of time, it would make sense that water would leak in. Why you would go swimming with one of these watches in the first place is beyond me but if you are then look for sports watch, or at least one with a rubber wrist band
Again, this is one of the better watches i have owned. I deep navy blue really brings out the character of the watch, and the simple analog gives is a classic touch

This watch is gorgeous and stunning. I bought it for my husband and he loves it. It clearly gets attention when he's wearing it. The blue face makes a sophisticated and handsome impression against the polished steel links.
