The rubber band cannot be shortened, therefore unless you have a big wrist, this watch will not look good on you. I own other automatic, sports Invicta watches and they are all excellent in terms of look and durability.

just got it out of the package and it does look very nice overall. too early to say anything about accuracy of time keeping but what worries me right now is: where's my screw down crown ?? i can actually pull out the crown to both positions (date/time), but there is no screw down function/possibility. can anyone shed some light ?

This is my second Automatic watch, first one was Seiko Diver's Automatic, paid a little more than I wanted.
Got this watch I thought at a very reasonable price on Amazon. I like the black and silver, nice resin wrist band, only problem, I don't like the style of the bezel... I like bezel's that have the teeth and easier to grip and turn this one with the smooth scallop rotating bezel hard to rotate, oh well. Still looks good on my wrist, I think it's rugged enough to wear on an outdoor weekend getaway or a formal function, and to wear casually. Very pleased with Invicta. So if you're looking for a reasonable priced Diver's Watch get this one or get the other model I saw where the bezel has the teeth grooves and easier to rotate.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. It was one of three Invictas that I purchased. I am very pleased with it, as he was thrilled with it. The quality is excellent. It's a very handsome watch for a rugged guy. Buy it with confidence!

sharp looking watch! but looks only go so far. right off the bat its 8 seconds fast per day.not too shabby, and i can regulate it back if it doesnt slow down after about a month.i do these simple simple things myself. jap movements tend to run a touch fast at first. also the back of the watch say that its actually a 8926a. and i see teeny little scratches from them changing the band, which is the only difference between the 2 watches. if this was a big deal to me i would not have even ordered an invicta. as far as i can see, this is a really nice watch and the miyota guts have been proven solid. as far as the price is concerned, its low for an auto but if the watch doesnt work as advertised,it aint worth squat. i buy my watches for utility first.so far ,so good. also the strap is thick and flawless. the bezel is nice and tight, which is perfect because i dont want it turning unless i mean for it to turn. the clicks line up perfectly to the inner dial. you dont see that every day. like i said ...SO FAR, im very happy. for all practical purposes this is a very good buy.
